How to use grammar check. To check word count simply place your cursor into the text box above and start typing. This will bring up a screen that displays the page count word count character count etc.

To get the word count of a small section simply select the section and then bring up the word count screen. Here navigate to the third option word count. Type or copy and paste your word or document into the text area.
