Spell Check In Word Tables

Spell check in word tables. On a mac select word preferences spelling grammar and select the check spelling as you type and check grammar as you type check boxes. Click the file tab and then click options. Select the entire section you want to check.
You have probably found that you can manually run a spell check by clicking the review tab at the top of the window then clicking the spelling grammar button but there is another setting that will enable word to fix misspellings automatically as you type. Besides the standard fillable fields there are several tables that are supposed to be filled out by the user. Make sure that all check boxes are cleared in the exception for section. Try selecting your entire table then click the language button in the statusbar and make sure that do not check spelling and grammar is not checked.
Mine does spell check in tables and i haven t made any changes to the default configuration as far as i am aware. Review tab language set proofing language. In most tables spell check appears to work fine but in one specific table almost all words are flagged in just two specific cells.
Make sure that the check spelling as you type check box is selected in the when correcting spelling and grammar in word section. Make sure the box next to do not check spelling or grammar is unticked.
