Before pressing f7 or the spelling button right click on any sheet tab and click select all sheets.

Excel spell check red underline. To start a check of the spelling and grammar in your file just press f7 or follow these steps. You are only notified that a word is spelled wrong when you run the spell check. In access or infopath you can skip this step.

In project you ll go to the project tab. Then run spell check as normal. Unfortunately excel does not check your spelling as you type by underlining them in red like word does.
