Automatic Spell Check In Word
Click the file tab at the top left corner of the window.
Automatic spell check in word. Turn on or off automatic spelling and grammar checking on the word menu click preferences spelling grammar. To check spelling manually click review spelling grammar. To enable spell check as you type follow these steps.
Check the box to the left of check spelling as you type. Just go to review tab to tap spelling grammar button in proofing section. Open the document in word 2013.
Check word s proofing language. For example if you work for a company that always writes its name in lowercase click the first letter tab so word. If you are using classic menu for office click tools word options proofing.
Click file options proofing clear the check spelling as you type box and click ok. Click the proofing tab at the left side of the word options window. Click the file tab and then click options.
If the auto check feature is turned off you need to activate spelling grammar manually. Click the options button at the bottom of the left column. But do remember to run spell check.
This has a checkbox with label as check spelling as you type. In the spelling grammar dialog box under spelling check or clear the check spelling as you type box. To turn spell check back on repeat the process and select the check spelling as you type box.
