Activate Spell Check In Word
Make sure that the check spelling as you type check box is selected in the when correcting spelling and grammar in word section.
Activate spell check in word. Click the file tab at the top left corner of the window. By checking this field you can turn on the automatic spell check as you type in word 2010. All you need to do for this is select alt f7.
The status bar shows the language of the text. Check grammar as spelling. For example windows 10 mail app and onenote etc application like these need their own settings of spell checking.
For spell check to work in word you have to set the rightediting language. Click the proofing tab at the left side of the word options window. It will show the first misspelled word in your document.
This has a checkbox with label as check spelling as you type. Click the file tab and then click options. In the spelling grammar dialog box under spelling check or clear the check spelling as you type box.
By following this procedure you can enable or disable a spell check in windows 10. Turn on or off automatic spelling and grammar checking. Despite changing the settings there are some applications that need their own settings of spell checking.
Please click file tab in word 2010 and 2013 or click the office button in word 2007 word options proofing. If you have turn off spell and grammar checking please do remember to check them manually. To enable spell check as you type follow these steps.
